Location: Commutable to Tonbridge (potential for hybrid working) Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000 + discretionary bonus

The role of the Designer - Roofing & Cladding Systems will involve:
- Designer position dealing with the supply and install of rainscreen facades, roofing and cladding
- Services include new build and refurbishment projects for both the commercial, industrial and residential market sectors
- Review client specifications, surveys and manufacturers design information to produce designs
- Occasional site surveys may have to be carried out to obtain further information
- Managing the development and implementation of design proposals and ensure they meet the clients expectations
- Ensure all construction drawings and designs are produced on time to a high standard Scheduling of required materials to an agreed programme for buying
- Ensuring information is passed between departments so designs have the technical back up required
- Working on projects ranging in value from £10k to £6m
The ideal applicant will be Designer - Roofing & Cladding Systems with:
- Must have design experience within the building envelope market sector
- Sound knowledge of building regulations and building standards
- Strong AutoCAD LT & AutoCAD experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- High levels of organisation and attention to detail
- Enthusiastic, team player, who works well individually also
