Senior Planner – EPCM | Oil & Gas (Part-Time Contract, Outside IR35) We are working with a global engineering and technology systems provider in the Oil & Gas sector. Their EPCM division is launching a new multi-year project, and they are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join them on a part-time contract basis to support project planning and scheduling from the EPCM contractor’s perspective. About the Role: You will be responsible for owning the full project planning scope, managing schedules and key milestones for the process control, instrumentation, and safety shutdown systems. This is an ideal opportunity for a contractor with other ongoing clients or assignments. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project planning from the EPCM perspective.
  • Develop and maintain schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Track milestones, progress, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all project planning deliverables in line with Oil & Gas sector expectations.

  • Proficiency with Primavera P6.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and scheduling management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively across multiple disciplines.
 What’s On Offer:
  • Contract Length: Initial 6–12 months.
  • Hours: 2–2.5 days per week (flexible working days).
  • On-Site Requirement: 2 days per week in Tunbridge Wells or Aberdeen.
  • Rate: £50–55 per hour (Outside IR35).
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project planner seeking flexible, part-time work while contributing to a high-impact, long-term project within the energy sector.
