Faircloth Construction Ltd have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and talented Contracts Manager.

Faircloth Construction Ltd work with some of the UK's largest property development investment companies. Working as a main Contractor, Faircloth Construction specialise in the design and construction of commercial, retail, industrial and leisure projects.

About the role:

  • Managing contracts and ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality through effective organisation and management
  • Liaising with Site Managers, subcontractors, suppliers and clients as necessary
  • Be willing to travel throughout the UK with occasional overnight stays

About you:

  • Sound Construction knowledge - broad knowledge of commercial construction
  • Experience working with subcontractors
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Be able to form relationships with clients and be approachable
  • Manage the commercial elements of the contract – pricing, tracking variations through to final account and project cost control
  • Manage procurement of materials
  • Be commercially aware
  • Experience of leading and managing a team and have an understanding of working within contractual requirements
  • Excellent team leader with a professional nature
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with concrete, cladding and steel erection

Desirable criteria

  • Experienced Contracts Manager
  • HND/HNC in building studies preferred
  • Experienced in commercial and industrial sector
