ABOUT THE SCHOOL:

A two form entry school in Tunbridge Wells are looking for an experienced 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant for a Reception pupil. Successful 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

Must have previous SEN experience

Ideally be experienced in Down Syndrome and Autism

Have previous experience with Reception

Must be resilient, caring and empathetic

Main purpose of job for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

To work under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCo, and within an agreed system of supervision, to implement agreed work programmes/intervention strategies with the pupil both in and outside the classroom and assist the teacher in evaluating their impact. This will also involve assisting the teacher in planning, and the management/preparation of resources. Full training will be provided.
