OVERVIEW: ELECTRICAL TUTOR / ASSESSOR
An opportunity to join an innovative and rapidly growing training provider, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Assessor to join their successful team.
You will be responsible for the delivery of Electrical apprenticeships to a caseload of learners in the Kent region. The successful candidate will need to have a strong background within the Electrical sector with experience in Electrical Installation within the Domestic & Commercial sectors.
Ideally you will have experience delivering training and will possess either an Assessor's Award or a teaching qualification (PTLLS or above). If you do not hold these qualifications but have a genuine desire to move into a training role, enjoy working in a learning environment and hold sound experience in the electrical installation sector, my client would like to hear from you. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: ELECTRICAL TUTOR / ASSESSOR
- Train, assess, motivate and support learners on programmes towards achieving apprenticeship qualifications, including Functional skills
- Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved electrical training materials, promoting standardisation, use approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to supporting them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner.
- Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are met and to monitor candidates progress, including carrying out regular progression reviews/additional support reviews.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES: ELECTRICAL TUTOR / ASSESSOR
- A1 Assessor Award - TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33 etc. - (desirable)
- Teaching qualification (desirable)
- Functional Skills qualifications at Level 2 (desirable)
- L3 Electrical / Electrotechnical qualification
- A minimum 5 years' occupational experience within electrical installation
- Experience of working remotely
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage own diary
- Full UK Driving License and use of own vehicle
