About the role

While your primary focus will be on paraplanning, our small, family-run structure requires flexibility from all our team to assist in other tasks such as administration and in other areas of the business as required.

Duties will broadly fall within the following areas:

  • Pensions, investment, and protection research using dedicated FS software and FP tools.
  • Preparing high quality reports.
  • Platform management.
  • Client support.
  • Compliance
  • Adviser support.

We are looking for an experienced paraplanner, someone who has a minimum of five years experience gained within an IFA wealth management setting.

  • Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge in pensions, investments, and protection.
  • Proficiency with Voyant and research tools such as FE Analytics, Adviser Asset, Iress and Selectapension).
  • Proficiency with Investment platforms.
  • Experience in preparing research for tax wrappers, IHT, BPR, drawdown, annual reviews, and client servicing.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to provide support in a range of other tasks as required.
  • Be proactive and able to work on your own.
