Are you a passionate Special Needs Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with Autism? We are seeking a Primary SEN Teacher to join our dedicated team, working with Year 7/8 students, delivering lessons at Key Stage 2 level. No prior experience in SEN is required - just a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a desire to support the children..

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lessons tailored to Key Stage 2 curriculum, with a focus on meeting the individual needs of the students
  • Adapt teaching strategies and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCo, and other professionals to develop personalized learning plans
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the social and emotional development of students
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and reporting to parents and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • No prior experience in SEN required - we are looking for a motivated and compassionate teacher
  • A passion for supporting children with Autism and additional needs
  • Strong communication skills
  • A commitment to creating a positive and engaging learning environment
