Information Security Engineer
Information Security Engineer required by a well-known growing legal organisation based in the heart of Tunbridge Wells. The Information Security Engineer will join a small Infrastructure team and will work closely with the Data Protection Officer.
The company operate on a hybrid model which typically involves a 50% split between being in the office and working from home.
Examples of responsibilities:
- Managing and maintaining the companies security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, SIEM systems, and other security tools.
- Vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Taking a lead role on incident response
- Monitoring security logs and analysing security events
- Assessing threats, vulnerabilities and impact
- Ensuring compliance with security frameworks and regulations/standards
- Security incident reports and suggestions for improvements
Although this role sits within the companies Infrastructure team, this will be the sole Information Security specialist, therefore the successful candidate must be happy being the subject matter expert within the organisation.
