Paint Sprayer

Location: Paddock Wood

We are seeking a skilled Paint Sprayer to join our team in Maidstone. This role involves preparing and painting a range of fabricated metal products to a high standard, ensuring all work meets our quality and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reading and interpreting production information: Understand specifications and requirements for each job.
  • Preparing surfaces: Perform masking, sanding, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
  • Setting up spraying equipment: Mix materials accurately to achieve the correct colour and consistency.
  • Applying paint: Apply primer and topcoats evenly, ensuring a smooth and high-quality finish.
  • Quality control: Inspect finished products, making adjustments or rectifications as needed.
  • Maintenance: Clean and maintain spraying equipment regularly.
  • Health and safety compliance: Follow company policies on the safe disposal of waste, control of emissions, and handling of hazardous materials.
  • General duties: Assist with other tasks as required by management.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent in a relevant field.
