Our client, a respected firm based in Tunbridge Wells, is seeking a skilled solicitor to join their dynamic Corporate & Commercial team.The Role: This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor with expertise in both corporate and commercial law to take the next step in their career. You will be working on a broad range of transactional and non-transactional matters, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring. As part of a highly collaborative team, you will work closely with two partners, a senior associate, an associate, and two trainees.The firm offers a professional and supportive working environment, with flexibility for some remote working.Key Responsibilities:
  • Handling a variety of corporate and commercial matters, including transactional work such as mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring.
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements.
  • Providing expert legal advice to clients on a range of corporate and commercial issues.
  • Managing your own caseload while also contributing to larger team projects.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across departments to provide comprehensive legal solutions.
Requirements:
  • Qualified solicitor with experience in corporate and commercial law.
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in transactional work, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and client-focused approach.
  • Experience in a similar role within a reputable firm.
