Litigation Solicitor, Tunbridge Wells - £DOE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced Litigation Solicitor.

My client is a well-established and respected law firm based in Tunbridge Wells, specialising in a broad range of legal services. The team is committed to providing high-quality legal advice and exceptional client care. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Litigation Solicitor to join their dynamic team.

As a Civil Litigation Solicitor, you will manage a diverse caseload, providing expert advice and representation to clients in matters including contract disputes, property disputes, professional negligence, and other civil litigation issues. You will playa key role in resolving disputes through negotiation, mediation, and, when necessary, representing clients in court.

Key Responsibilities : -

  • Manage a varied caseload of civil litigation matters from inception to conclusion.
  • Provide expert legal advice on a range of disputes, including contractual, property, debt recovery, and professional negligence.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
  • Represent clients in court, at mediation, and in negotiations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing clear, practical, and strategic advice.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated with current civil litigation laws and precedents.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in other departments to provide holistic legal solutions.

About You : -

  • Qualified Solicitor with 3 years of PQE, desirable
  • Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and case management.
  • Proven experience in handling a varied caseload independently.
  • Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Strong client care and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
