We are seeking a skilled and proactive Legal Secretary to join our client's team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with legal professionals and contribute to the smooth operation of administrative services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare correspondence, legal documents, and written communications through various methods.
- Maintain and update electronic files, ensuring compliance with firm procedures.
- Manage file administration, including opening, closing, archiving, and reviewing for destruction.
- Assist with diary management, recording key dates and deadlines to ensure timely task completion.
- Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in person, providing support and taking messages as required.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate meeting room bookings.
- Provide general administrative assistance to the legal team as needed.
- Maintain accurate time records using the firm's case management system.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong secretarial and administrative skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring a high standard of service.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling professional interaction with clients and colleagues.
- Understanding of discretion and confidentiality required in legal environments.
