A well-respected law firm in Tunbridge Wells are looking to recruit a recent law graduate into a legal assistant role, within their commercial property team. You will be working alongside the paralegals and legal secretaries in the team on things such as;

  • Document production/preparation – drafting/proofreading legal documents
  • Conducting legal research
  • Maintaining & updating client files
  • Speaking with client to provide updates and respond to incoming queries
  • Diary management for solicitors
  • Billing & invoicing

This is a fantastic opportunity to get hands on experience working in a law firm, in a friendly progressive team that has a great track record for progression from within. They have a paralegal pathway available, as well as numerous other opportunities.

About you

  • Candidates must have completed a law degree
  • No prior experience working in a law firm is required, but you need to be a fast learner and have an ability to pick things up quickly/use your initiative.
  • Strong IT skills as you will be using different platforms/packages (training will be provided)
  • Have a good attention to detail, ability to prioritise competing deadlines, and a can do attitude.
