Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking for a static, day-based role within a well-established company offering training and progression? Are you looking for a full-time, permanent role with the opportunity to expand your knowledge and develop new skills?
On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established dessert manufacturing company that produces luxury, handcrafted desserts. With a focus on maintaining high standards of quality, you will play a key role in ensuring the factory machinery is running smoothly and efficiently.
The day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing faults on factory machinery, performing regular maintenance and cleaning, and supporting the Maintenance Manager with the upkeep of buildings, grounds, and other structures. You'll also be responsible for keeping the maintenance workshop clean and safe, maintaining records of work completed, and undertaking any training required to develop your skills further.
This role would suit someone with a background in engineering and machinery maintenance, looking for a stable, long-term position where you can develop your skills in a high-quality manufacturing environment.
The Role:
- Machinery repair and maintenance
- Upkeep of machinery, buildings and grounds
- Monday - Friday 7:30-4:30
The Person:
- Maintenance engineer or similar
- Background in mechanical engineering
- Full UK License
- Commutable to Hawkhurst
