Are you a marketing enthusiast looking for an opportunity to kick-start your career? Our client, a dynamic and innovative organisation, based in Tunbridge Wells is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join their in house Marketing team.

As a Marketing Assistant, you will provide essential administrative support to the Marketing & Business Development team, reporting to the Head of Marketing assisting with a wide range of marketing activities including business development, events, digital marketing, and PR.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with filming and editing videos, as well as creating visually appealing designs for social media using Indesign and Canva.
  • Upload data into the system for client surveys.
  • Support in updating the organisation's website and managing social media channels.
  • Proactively assist with the production of monthly briefs and client listening reports.
  • Take charge of managing the marketing inbox, ensuring prompt and professional responses to enquiries.
  • Prepare monthly marketing reports for each department.
  • Be adaptable and willing to take on any other reasonable duties assigned from time to time.

Specialist Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience with design software such as InDesign, Canva is ideal.
  • Relevant degree or similar within the Marketing field is desirable
  • An understanding of data management/office expedience would be desirable.

Personal Skills Required:

  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
  • A well-organised and conscientious work style.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong time management skills, capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Numerical competence and a solid grasp of the English language, including spelling, punctuation, and sentence construction.
  • A personable nature with strong interpersonal skills, displaying tact, patience, understanding, and persuasiveness.
