GSL Education are looking for a dedicated PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education) Teacher to join a supportive school in Tunbridge Wells. If you have the enthusiasm to engage students in personal, social, health, and economic education, this role is perfect for you.

Job summary:

As a PSHE Teacher, you will play a key role in guiding students through important topics such as health and well-being, relationships, and social responsibility. You will design and deliver lessons that encourage students to think critically, make informed decisions, and develop into well-rounded individuals.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging PSHE lessons that meet the national curriculum requirements.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel safe to express their thoughts and opinions.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Encourage active participation in discussions, helping students develop communication and critical thinking skills.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience in teaching PSHE at secondary school level.
  • Ability to create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • A passion for supporting students' personal growth and well-being.
  • An updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
