Gi Group are currently recruiting for Vehicle Bodyshop Prepper on a temporary, ongoing basisPaddock WoodStart Immediatley Shift time- 08:00 - 17:00- Monday to Friday - 1 in 4 Saturdays required to workThis is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group and work with one of our National Clients and one of Europe's largest vehicle remarketing businesses and where the opportunities are endless.Bodyshop Prepper duties and responsibilities:You will be assisting in the daily production of the Bodyshop department in order to achieve production figures, and produce high quality vehicles in line with Customer standards. Your duties will include:* Preparing vehicles for paint - This will include masking, priming, sanding, and cleaning panels.* Ensuring that there are no defects on the prepared panels.* Supporting other areas of the workshop where needed.* Assisting with the training of junior members of the team.Candidate requirements;* Previous experience in a similar role in a Bodyshop. Minimum 1 year.* Full UK Driving Licence held for a minimum of 2 years* Willing to support junior cosmetic technicians and offer support/expertise when needed.* You will be passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in your work, to the highest standards of work set by customers.* You will need to work independently and as part of a team on vehicles and have experience to make your own decisions when required.* Excellent attention to detail * No more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes (no DR/DD/BA offences please)Key Information and Benefits- Weekly pay- £16.00ph- 1 Hr BreakIf you are looking to work for a reputable business in a busy environment as a Vehicle Bodyshop Prepper then apply NOW Or Call us on !
