A Primary School located in Tunbridge Wells are looking for an organised and positive Year 6 Teacher to join their team. The role is full time, starting 16th December 2024 ending 24th February 2025.

Key responsibilities as a Year 6 Teacher:

  • Design and deliver engaging and effective lessons across the curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess student progress through regular evaluations, feedback, and tests.
  • Tailor teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.
  • Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment, implementing strategies for effective behaviour management.
  • Foster a sense of responsibility and independence in students as they take on more complex tasks in preparation for secondary school.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils
  • Work in accordance with the legal requirements and policies of the school.

Requirements as a Year 6 Teacher:

  • Have QTS.
  • Strong knowledge of the key stage 2 curriculum.
  • Have previous experience working as an effective primary teacher.
  • An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be happy to apply.
  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
  • Be able to provide two references within the last 2 years.
