We have an exciting opportunity with a rapidly - growing construction consultancy firm in Kent who are looking for an organised Project Manager to join their team. You will have the opportunity to deliver high-value projects ranging from 6m to 430m with high-profile clients in commercial, infrastructure, and public sectors. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, the perfect opportunity for someone looking to advance their career.

Key Responsibilities for the successful Project Manager:

  • Deliver high-quality project and programme management across the entire project lifecycle.
  • Advise clients on project cost, programme, risks, and issues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Lead the preparation of monthly reports, including project programmes and risk registers.
  • Implement effective and efficient communication strategies.
  • Apply and develop knowledge of various building contract forms, including JCT and NEC.
  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams to successful outcomes.
  • Employ best practice project management techniques pre- and post-contract.
  • Ensure successful project delivery from inception to completion.
  • Perform the roles of Employer's Agent and Contract Administrator effectively.

Requirements of the Project Manager:
Essential:

  • Proven leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Strong understanding of project management responsibilities throughout the lifecycle.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including written and verbal presentation.
  • Experienced in advising clients and stakeholders confidently.
  • Familiarity with JCT and NEC contracts.
  • Working towards or holding a relevant Project Management qualification (e.g., RICS Qualified).
  • A team player with excellent numeracy and IT skills.
  • Full UK driving license.

Desirable:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Projects or similar tools.
  • Experience in identifying and developing new client opportunities.
  • Working towards or holding MRICS accreditation.
