ITS is recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a well-established Main Contractor. Specialising in commercial, retail, industrial, and leisure projects, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving team and contribute to high-profile developments.

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of projects, ensuring profitability and success. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing all commercial aspects to maximise profitability and cash flow

  • Assessing and mitigating commercial and contractual risks

  • Preparing and presenting monthly cost reports (forecasting, CVR, risk & opportunity)

  • Working closely with clients to agree valuations and variations

  • Providing commercial and contractual support to project teams

  • Overseeing sub-contractor procurement, valuations, and payments

  • Supporting estimating teams with tendering processes

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in commercial, retail, industrial, and leisure projects (up to £15m)

  • Strong commercial management skills throughout the project lifecycle

  • Knowledge of JCT & NEC contracts

  • Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience)

  • Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail

  • Main contractor experience is essential
