We are seeking a professional and hardworking Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a finance team in Tunbridge Wells. This role offers a fast-paced environment and the opportunity to work for a well-established brand during an exciting period of growth.
Day-to-day of the role:- Processing purchase orders and allocating cost codes.
- Entering supplier invoices promptly and accurately.
- Creating new supplier accounts and maintaining existing ones.
- Investigating and resolving purchase ledger queries.
- Making supplier payments and managing cash flow.
- Producing month-end BACS reports.
- Reconciling supplier statements to ensure accuracy in accounts.
- Proven experience in a purchase ledger position is essential.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organisational skills to manage a variety of tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and supplier relations.
- Strong IT skills, with proficiency in finance software and MS Office.
