As they prepare for the new academic year, they are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated IT/Computing Teacher to join their team and inspire the next generation of digital innovators.

Position Overview: Thery are looking for a talented IT/Computing Teacher to deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons to students aged 11-16. The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT and computing, with the ability to teach a range of topics including programming, computer systems, etc. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people while shaping the future of technology education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in IT/Computing that are aligned with the national curriculum and meet the needs of all students.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to explore, question, and innovate.
  • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their development and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the IT/Computing curriculum.
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities to enrich the educational experience for students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching IT/Computing at the secondary level, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the latest developments in IT and computing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
