Position Overview: They are looking for a passionate and talented Mathematics Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons to students aged 11-18. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, with the ability to teach across key stages and prepare students for success in examinations. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging mathematics lessons that inspire curiosity and promote independent thinking.
- Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential, providing tailored guidance and support where needed.
- Prepare students for external examinations, including GCSEs and A-levels, ensuring they are well-equipped to excel.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued, respected, and empowered to succeed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the ongoing development of the mathematics curriculum.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Degree in Mathematics or a related field, with strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject.
- Experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level, with a track record of success in raising attainment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.
