Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging mathematics lessons that inspire curiosity and promote independent thinking.

  • Prepare students for external examinations, including GCSEs and A-levels, ensuring they are well-equipped to excel.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued, respected, and empowered to succeed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the ongoing development of the mathematics curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Degree in Mathematics or a related field, with strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject.
  • Experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level, with a track record of success in raising attainment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.
