The Role

As a Religious Studies Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum, exploring world religions, ethics, and philosophy.
  • Foster a classroom environment that promotes respectful discussion and critical inquiry.
  • Support the spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development of students.
  • Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create cross-curricular links where appropriate.
  • Contribute to the pastoral care and holistic development of the students.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Have a degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for religious education and the ability to engage students across all key stages.
  • Be an excellent communicator with strong classroom management skills.
  • Have a collaborative, positive attitude, and be committed to ongoing professional development.
