2 X Neighbourhood Officer - 12 Month Fixed Term Contracts

One of our clients are currently recruiting for two Neighbourhood Officers for 12 month Fixed Term Contracts covering maternoty leaves within the department

One of the roles will cover a patch in Tunbrigde Wells Town Centre and the other will cover Fangton Green, Hawkenbury, Edinburgh House, Herstmonceux, Crowborough, Hailsham, Pevensey, Wadhurst, Lamberhurst and Kilndown, Uckfield, Heathfield

Length:                      12 month FTC

Salary:                       £34,039 - £39,331 per annum

Hours:                        35 hours a week

The role involves:

  • Managing day-to-day tenancy and estate management
  • Ensuring effective management of empty properties
  • Conducting home visits and resolving housing issues
  • Managing low to medium-level anti-social behaviour cases
  • Performing annual tenancy audits for at least 20% of properties
  • Implementing minor environmental improvements
  • Collaborating on neighbourhood planning and community projects
  • Working with various agencies to enhance service value
  • Representing the Association at relevant meetings
  • Handling tenant rights, mutual exchanges, succession, joint/sole tenancies and abandoned properties

 Essential requirements:

  • Experience managing social housing stock and dealing with anti social behaviour
  • Effective communication with stakeholders and abiliity to produce clear and concise reports
  • Proficient in IT management systems, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • UK driving license and access to a car for work purposes
