Are you passionate about supporting children with special needs and making a positive impact on their education? A well-established special needs school in Tunbridge Wells are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Support Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time/part-time, rewarding role with no previous experience required.

Role: Support assistant

Location: Tunbridge Wells

Contract Type: Full-Time, part-time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities as a Support Assistant:

  • Support students with special educational needs in the classroom
  • Assist with delivering personalised learning plans and activities
  • Provide one-on-one support to students, helping them engage with their lessons
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff to ensure students' individual needs are met
  • Encourage independence, social skills, and emotional development
