Regional Travel Coordinator - Education/Travel Sector

Location: Kent/Surrey/Sussex Area (Home-Based with Regular Travel Required)

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 per annum, 1st year OTE £30,000 per annum

Role Overview:

Due to business growth, our client is seeking Regional Travel Coordinators to join their team across the UK. This dynamic role involves scheduling appointments with schools, conducting sales presentations to teachers, students, and parents, and achieving individual and team sales targets. You'll be responsible for introducing new schools to the expedition experience and providing exceptional support to those already involved.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contacting schools to schedule new appointments
  • Delivering engaging sales presentations to various stakeholders
  • Promoting expedition experiences to new schools
  • Providing outstanding support to existing clients
  • Traveling extensively in your geographical location, with potential occasional overnight stays

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Target-driven with strong sales skills
  • Passion, drive, and integrity
  • Experience in the travel industry or a strong interest in travel
  • Proven sales experience, ideally in the travel sector or face-to-face sales
  • Results-oriented with excellent presentation skills
  • Confident in presenting to students, parents, and teachers
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to adapt your style to suit different audiences
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Full driving license is essential
  • Team player
