- Computer Skills
- MOT Licence and main dealership experience is desirable
- Perform diagnostic tests to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
- Repair and replace faulty components, including brakes, suspension systems, and engines.
- Use computerized systems to access vehicle data and update software as needed.
- Keep accurate records of repairs, services, and maintenance performed on each vehicle.
- Assist in the inspection and preparation of vehicles for resale or customer delivery.
- Adhere to deadlines and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Recommend necessary repairs or maintenance to customers based on findings during inspections.
- Test-drive vehicles after repairs to verify their proper functioning.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels and ordering replacement parts when necessary.
