GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Design and Technology Teacher to join a well-respected secondary school in Tunbridge Wells. This is an excellent opportunity for a DT Teacher to inspire the next generation of designers, engineers, and problem-solvers in a supportive and forward-thinking educational environment.

  Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and practical Design and Technology Teacher lessons across various specialisms such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, or Engineering.

  • Encourage students to develop their creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical knowledge through hands-on projects.

  • Use modern resources and equipment to provide a stimulating and dynamic learning experience.

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enrich the DT Teacher curriculum and contribute to extracurricular activities.

  The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Have experience teaching Design and Technology at a secondary level, with expertise in one or more DT specialisms.

  • Be passionate about fostering creativity and innovation in students.

  • Possess excellent classroom management and communication skills.
