Brightwork is recruiting for Abattoir General Operatives to work in Turriff, Aberdeenshire.
The rate of pay is £12.20 per hour, increasing after 26 weeks to £12.60 per hour.
This is a full-time role and the shifts start at 7am until finish time, usually between 3.30pm and 5pm.
Your Time at Work
As an Abattoir General Operative, your duties include:
- Picking, cutting, loading and general duties within Abattoir using knives and equipment
- Assist in the production of beef and lamb
Please note that this job is in a chilled environment, involving work with animals' guts and blood.

Our perfect Abattoir General Operative will be reliable, hardworking and be comfortable handling animals' guts and blood.
No previous experience is necessary as a General Operative/Warehouse Operative as full training is provided.
