A leading provider of forklift servicing and repair solutions, our client is a trusted name in the industry. They are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join their team in covering Surrey and SW London (KT, TW, CR, SL nd GU codes)
The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our client's customers receive top-quality service.
Your responsibilities will include:
Servicing and Repairing Forklifts:
Travel across the Southeast, servicing and repairing a diverse range of forklifts, including gas, electric, and diesel models.
Fault Diagnosis and Repair:
Conduct thorough fault-finding and perform efficient repairs to minimize downtime for our clients.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service, building strong relationships with clients and ensuring their satisfaction.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and best practices.
Key Requirements
Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, with a strong background in HGV, forklift, plant hire, or similar industries.
Experience working on ships or within the Royal Forces is also valuable.
Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair faults effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
Willingness to travel extensively throughout the South East.
What Is on Offer
Competitive salary starting at 35,000, with the potential to earn up to 48,000 through overtime and bonuses.
Uncapped overtime at time and a half after 8 hours.
Paid travel (door-to-door).
40-hour workweek.
25 days of annual leave, increasing with service up to 32 days.
