  • Be responsible for coordinating and processing FOI requests, ensuring they are handled professionally and in full compliance with legal requirements
  • Provide support, advice and guidance to staff within Achieving For Children regarding FOI requests and data subject requests, including advising on information redaction and preparing reports for the public
  • Work closely with the Information Governance Lead and Data Protection officer to support the development of policies and procedures that ensure AfC’s compliance with UK data protection law and best practices in information management
  • Advise internal stakeholders on all aspects of information governance and records management and coordinate responses to information requests from customers
Requirements:
  • Educated to at least GCSE or equivalent with a pass in English
  • Awareness of the access to information legislations
  • Previous experience within a similar role
