Early Years Teaching Assistant | Location: Twickenham, Richmond, TW1 | Payscale: £95-£110 per day | Start Date: ASAP

Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and shaping the future generation? Do you have a deep understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) principles and a commitment to supporting children's holistic development?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the nursery room/reception classes and participate in lesson delivery.
  • Support children's learning through a variety of activities, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Provide one-to-one support and small group interventions to children with SEN.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the assessment and observation of children's progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Uphold the school's policies and procedures, always ensuring the safety and welfare of all children.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in childcare, early years education, or a related field (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education).
  • Previous experience working in a nursery/reception setting.
  • Experience supporting children with SEN.
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills and easily adaptable.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting children's learning and development.
