We are thrilled to announce an opening for an entry-level Warehouse Technician at our client' site. An innovative, quality-focused company that prides itself on outstanding customer support.

The successful candidate will have an interest in electrical wiring and will work towards competency in fault-finding investigations, repairing faulty cables and panels, terminating and soldering new cables and multi-pin panels, and inspecting and testing electrical equipment.

Location: Initially based in Twickenham, relocating to Weybridge.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Clean, prepare, and test equipment such as power distribution units, transformers, and other departmental equipment.
  • Manage cables pre- and post-hire, including testing, cleaning, recoiling, and storing.
  • Report any damages to equipment upon return from projects.
  • Ensure equipment is correctly stored and labelled.
  • Conduct in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment (PAT).
  • Create new cables and perform maintenance and repairs as required.
  • Communicate stock shortages.
  • Engage in forklift driving and stock control.
  • Comply with health and safety procedures at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in electrical wiring regulations.
  • Experience with PAT, soldering, and reading electrical diagrams is beneficial.
  • A proactive “can-do” attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver great results.

Working Hours: Typically 10am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, with some shift work and weekend hours as required by the business. Overtime is compensated accordingly.
