Are you an experienced Claims Handler looking to take the next step into management, or a Claims Manager seeking a new challenge? This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of six, handling complex, high-value claims while managing workflow and team development.
The Role:- Manage a team of 6 reporting to the Head of Claims
- Hybrid working-3 days per week, with flexibility to visit other offices
- Split between 60% managerial duties (1-2-1s, appraisals, workflow management) and 40% handling complex cases
- Handling claims from FNOL to settlement (no settlement authority)
- Cases range from £100k to £40m
- Circa 3-4 client cases per month and attend client meetings with senior leadership
- Covering UK claims (some Ireland) - travel costs covered
- Experience in people management/supervision - ideal for an experienced leader or someone looking to step up
- Strong complex claims handling background
- Expertise in Construction, PI, or General Commercial claims is ideal
- Ability to manage high-value and technical claims.
- Based in Twickenham or Watford, or opportunity to move to the city office
- Salary up to £55k but flexibility for the right candidate
