An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join the NHS Drug and Alcohol Team based in South West London. This role is ideal for a mental health professional with experience in drug and alcohol services who is passionate about providing high-quality care to individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive assessments, care planning, and interventions for individuals experiencing substance use issues.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery-focused outcomes.
  • Provide harm reduction strategies, psychoeducation, and support to individuals and their families.
  • Contribute to service development and ensure care delivery aligns with NHS standards.

Role Requirements:

  • Registration with the NMC as a Mental Health Nurse (CPN).
  • Experience working in drug and alcohol services is essential.
  • Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
