We are excited to announce an opening for a Warehouse Technician to work for a company that values innovation, quality, and outstanding customer support. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for technical work and a desire to contribute to the success of a technical equipment rental company.

The role is initially based in Twickenham and is relocating Weybridge October/November 2024

Day to Day of the role:
  • Clean, prepare, and test equipment such as power distribution units, transformers, and other department equipment.
  • Manage cables pre and post-hire, including testing, cleaning, recoiling, and storing.
  • Report any damages to equipment upon return from projects.
  • Ensure equipment is correctly stored and labelled.
  • Conduct in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment (PAT).
  • Create new cables and perform maintenance and repairs as required.
  • Communicate stock shortages.
  • Engage in forklift driving and stock control.
  • Comply with health and safety procedures at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of electrical wiring regulations is advantageous.
  • Experience with PAT, soldering, and reading electrical diagrams is beneficial.
  • A proactive “can-do” attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver great results.

Working hours are typically 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday, with some shift work and weekend hours as required by the business. Overtime is compensated accordingly.
