KiddyKare are seeking a motivated Nursery Manager to join a small, cozy setting with small classrooms and a shared piazza in Richmond.
The nursery is flooded with natural light, and each room features multi-sensory, bespoke hand-crafted equipment.
The nursery has lots of extra curriculum activities such as Zumba, music and movement, cooking sessions and structured language classes.
Alongside engaging activities they offer in their rooms, children enjoy our outdoor space, where they cultivate their own plants, and explore a wide range of sensory experiences. Daily neighbourhood outings to local parks and woodlands enhance their connection to the wider community.
Working 40 or 45 hours per week with a salary of up to £40,000.

Role specification & description:
Oversee the daily management and operation of the nursery, ensuring a safe,
stimulating, and caring environment.
Lead and inspire the nursery team to deliver exceptional early years education and care.
Manage staff recruitment, onboarding, appraisals, and professional development.
Foster a positive workplace culture that supports teamwork, collaboration, and staff well
being.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including health and safety,
safeguarding, and local childcare standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and caregivers, providing regular
communication and updates on their childs progress.
Manage nursery budgets and monitor expenses.
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
Level 3 or above in Early Years Education or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of three years experience working in a childcare setting, with at least two in a
supervisory or leadership role.
Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and relevant childcare
legislation.
Key Skills:

Passion for early childhood development and education.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Desirable:
First Aid Certification.
Experience in financial management or budgeting.
Additional training or certifications in child development, SEN, or related areas.
