Offering a multitude of services, our client is looking for this role to be part of their interior design team, working closely with other designers, stylists and third partied to develop exceptional design proposals and carry these forwards through to the installation stage.
This award-winning business has an established client base that is continuing to grow across all areas of the business. The Interior Designer position will have a specific focus on FF&E, procurement and interior design fit out and requires all candidates to demonstrate relevant experience along with very strong product and supplier knowledge.
Role & Responsibilities
- Managing your own residential projects across all stages
- Designing interior schemes, joinery and bespoke FF&E schemes
- Pitching to and managing clients
- Presenting physical and digital work to clients and the wider team
- Overseeing and managing fit out teams, executing your work to a high standard
- Producing specification schedules for lighting, sanitaryware, finishes etc.
Required Skills & Experience
- Client facing experience working on high end residential interior design projects for both private clients and developers
- 3+ years' interior design experience in the UK
- Strong eye for detail and ability to produce and present your work in a professional manner
- Experience with budgeting, managing clients, procurement and installing schemes
- Proven experience putting together finishing and design schedules for interior fit out and joinery
- Experience and confidence in managing fit out teams, design execution and contractors
- Good understanding of the industry, supplier and general product knowledge
- Competent in using Photoshop, MS Office suite, AutoCAD, and Estimac.
