My client a specialist within a niche arena are recruiting a Warehouse/Workshop Repairs Technician to join their dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will be highly motivated, skilled in various warehouse and workshop tasks. This role requires a proactive, resourceful individual who thrives in a collaborative setting and is adaptable to changing business needs.

The role is initially based in Twickenham and due to expansion, the client will be moving to the Weybridge area early 2025.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Perform woodwork operations such as cutting, sanding, and filling.
  • Engage in various metalwork tasks including cutting, grinding, and drilling.
  • Handle product finishing tasks, primarily paint spraying.
  • Carry out necessary building repairs throughout the offices and warehouse areas.
  • Uphold the highest safety and quality standards in all work.
  • Participate in quality control.
  • Oversee and mentor less experienced staff, providing training and sharing knowledge.
  • Conduct warehouse inspections and report faults.
  • Maintain tools and specialist equipment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in carpentry and metalworking, with a good knowledge of relevant tools and processes.
  • Proficiency with power tools and basic knowledge of plumbing systems.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, often under tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
  • Ability to read CAD drawings.
