Complaints Manager - Social Housing Repairs & Maintenance

Twickenham

Permanent, full time position

£40,000 - £44,000 per annum

Here at Howells Solutions we are working with a housing association to recruit a proactive and experienced Complaints Manager to join their team based near Twickenham. This is a full time, permanent role.

As the Complaints Manager, you will oversee the complaints made to the Repairs & Maintenance service, including planning / scheduling, customer care, and complaint handling.

You will manage a team of Complaints Handlers to ensure customers are in receipt of a satisfactory level of customer service exceeding customers' expectations.

Key Criteria:

  • Previous experience in social housing repairs and maintenance
  • Experience managing a planning function for a mobile workforce, ideally within the Social Housing / Facilities Management sector although all sector backgrounds will be considered
  • Experience driving customer service best practice and complaint resolution
  • Strong people management skills
  • Advanced IT Skills including planning softwares
  • Ability to lead, influence and direct a team
  • Ability to build and nurture strong working relationships with colleagues based at other sites/offices
