Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Maintenance & Servicing: Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring that every vehicle meets the high standards expected by customers.
• Diagnostics: Utilize the latest diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and repair both mechanical and electrical issues.
• Test Drives & Inspections: Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and test drives to accurately diagnose faults and verify repairs.
• MOT Testing: If you're an MOT tester (or willing to become one), you'll carry out MOTs in full compliance with DVSA regulations, ensuring vehicles meet the legal safety and environmental standards.
• Quality Control: Deliver consistent, high-quality workmanship and ensure that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and within timeframes.

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous Experience: You'll have solid experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic, with a strong track record of diagnosing and fixing a range of mechanical and electrical faults.
• MOT Tester Certification: A DVSA MOT testing license is highly desirable, though candidates willing to undertake the training to obtain certification are also encouraged to apply.
• Team Player: While you'll be comfortable working independently, you're also great at working within a team, supporting colleagues to get the job done to the best possible standard.
• Attention to Detail: You're meticulous in your approach, committed to ensuring all repairs and services are carried out with precision and care.
• Qualifications: Holding relevant industry qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or ATA accreditation would be advantageous, although equivalent experience will be considered.
