ROLE: PROJECT MANAGER – Architectural Metalwork DPT
LOCATION: Based at the company’s head office in Perivale West london, which is easily accessible via public transport (tube station is 6 minutes from office) and easy reached from A40
SALARY: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum plus benefits and incentives, company bonus scheme.
HOURS: Permanent, Full Time.
Reporting to the Managing Director, your primary objective as Project Manager will be to oversee multiple projects from receipt of order to fabrication and final installation. You will also be responsible for monitoring Quality Control, liaising with clients, architects and subcontractors to ensure specifications are met and projects are delivered on time. Most importantly you will be responsible for delivering project within budget.
Your day-to-day project management responsibilities will be to:
- Attend pre-start and progress meetings with clients on site.
- Plan and produce programmes.
- Carry out Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAM’S) for the works.
- Ensure all Health & Safety requirements are adhered to.
- Manage budgets and provide accurate forecasting.
- Appoint sub-contractors and installation teams.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, production teams and sub-contractors.
- Ensure that the daily site records, H&S files, and weekly progress reports are up to date.
You will be a self-motivated, experienced and successful Project Manager, with excellent communication skills both written and verbal, a strong technical bias, able to work to tight deadlines.
You will need a proven track record of running projects within the Structural Steel / Architectural Metalwork Industry. You will be IT literate, proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project.
