The Role:

As an Accounts Senior, you will play a pivotal role in managing a diverse client portfolio, delivering high-quality accounting services and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
  • Completing corporate and personal tax returns
  • Preparing management accounts and providing insightful financial advice
  • Assisting with VAT returns and bookkeeping when required
  • Liaising directly with clients to build strong working relationships
  • Supporting junior team members and reviewing their work
  • Keeping up to date with changes in accounting standards and tax legislation
About You:

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working within a UK accountancy practice
  • AAT qualified, ACCA/ACA part-qualified or fully qualified (or QBE)
  • Strong knowledge of FRS 102, FRS 105, and UK tax regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
