The Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing Manager to join a specialist company in the technology solutions sector. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and providing coaching to 1 Marketing Executive, this busy and varied 360 marketing role will see the successful candidate being instrumental in the design, development and execution of the online and offline marketing strategy for the business.

• Design, develop and execute effective marketing campaigns for both customer acquisition and maintenance of existing B2B relationships
• Design and manage email campaigns and content management across all channels
• Develop and design the social media strategy with the intention of growing relevant audiences across LinkedIn and YouTube
• Take ownership for the Web, Social, SEO (organic and paid) and paid advertising for the business.
• Test and analyse campaigns to make data driven decisions
• Management of customer and prospect data
• Use Adobe, Mailchimp and other marketing software to execute campaigns
• Working with the wider business to identify target markets and develop strategy to approach these markets
• Take ownership of the marketing strategy of the business and coach less experienced members of the team

Requirements

We would expect the successful candidate to demonstrate solid background in a Marketing role. Ideally, you will have experience of working in technical markets (ideally in manufacturing, engineering or maritime but other technical sectors will absolutely be considered). This is very much a "doing" role as much as a strategy role, so would really suit someone who likes getting their hands dirty in all areas of marketing from designing fliers and social media posts to analysing the ROI of campaigns. Due to the location of the position, it is essential you have your own transport.
