Sales Executive

£30,000 - £40,000 + discretionary bonus (£55,000 OTE), Uckfield (outskirts), Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, Pension, Parking, Progression Opportunity, Sick Pay

The Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a technically minded Sales Executive to join a specialist company in the technology solutions sector. Working as part of a small Sales team, the successful candidate will be responsible for communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers and following up on inbound leads. You will be approaching businesses in the fire, security and access control sectors for the business so experience of consultative and transactional sales in the engineering, manufacturing or trade sectors is essential.

  • Identifying and prospecting new markets for potential business
  • Exploring solutions with potential customers taking the time to understand their requirements
  • Develop presentations and bids to present to clients
  • Promoting the business and their products and services to customers
  • Providing some Account Management to converted customers and being a point of contact for queries about products, orders and deliveries
  • Using and updating internal CRM and systems

Requirements

We would expect the successful candidate to demonstrate solid experience in a Sales role - especially, you will require experience of working in technical markets (ideally in manufacturing, engineering or fire / security / access control). You have a natural flair for building relationships and a true enjoyment of providing excellent service. Due to the location of the position, it is absolutely essential you have your own transport.
