Role: Pickers Packers
Location: Uckfield
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 4:00pm with multiple breaks throughout the day
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Temporary Ongoing / Opportunity for Temp to Perm
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pickers/Packers to join our clients warehouse team.
In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products from inventory, preparing orders for shipment, and ensuring packages are properly labelled and ready for delivery.
** Due to the semi-rural site location, applicants MUST have their own transport **
The Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy items of various shapes and sizes
- Stand for extended periods
- Basic math and reading skills
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Previous warehouse or fulfilment experience is a plus but not essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
The Role:
- Pick products from boxes and shelves based on order forms or pick lists
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and product quality before packing
- Pack orders securely to prevent damage during shipping
- Label packages accurately with shipping information
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the packing station and warehouse
- Assist with inventory counts and restocking shelves when needed
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
