Found Industrial are looking for a Forklift Warehouse Operative to work alongside our client in Uckfield on a full time basis. The role will include operating forklift, working within the warehouse as part of a team and adhering to health and safety at all times.
The Role of FLT and Warehouse Operative:•   To comply with all relevant accreditation and standards•   Cover Dispatch Manager role in event of absence or holiday•   Be proactive in proposing solutions to any issues or problems•   Assist with running of site including organising goods in, shipping and dealing with logistical queries•   Complete required paperwork and electronic updated relating to dispatched items, stock control and goods in•   Oversee general operations and report issues to relevant person
Duties of Warehouse Operative:•   Picking and preparation of orders for dispatch to customers•   Ensuring all items for dispatch meet brand and regulatory standards•   Assist with training of temporary staff•   Assist with monthly stock inventory counts•   Operate forklift in safe and correct way•   Work to deadlines and timescales
Requirements for Warehouse Operative:•   Background in managing daily operations, including opening, closing and maintaining building security•   Strong understanding and experience adhering to health and safety regulations, particularly in a warehouse setting•   Computer literate •   Valid forklift licenseÂ
