- Network Design and Architecture:
- Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
- Develop and document network standards, procedures, and guidelines.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure network security best practices are implemented.
- Network Transition:
- Lead and coordinate the migration of network infrastructure to new technologies and platforms.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges associated with the transition.
- Develop and execute detailed migration plans and schedules.
- Network Troubleshooting and Support:
- Diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential problems.
- Provide technical support to end-users.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect network infrastructure.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.

- Extensive Cisco Experience: Demonstrated expertise in Cisco networking technologies.
- CCNP or CCIE Certification:Â Essential. Other cisco related certificates beneficial
- Strong Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, etc.)
- Experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) from leading vendors (Cisco, Juniper, etc.)
- Knowledge of network management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Cisco Prime)
- Familiarity with network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python)
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and identify root causes.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate network performance and identify optimization opportunities.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
- Effective communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with network virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware NSX, Cisco ACI)
- Knowledge of cloud networking concepts (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Additional certifications in network engineering (e.g., JNCIP, HCNP)
