Our client, a leading, international business in the manufacturing sector is seeking a Graduate to join them as an Internal Sales Administrator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Due to growth our client is looking to add a Graduate to their team in the role of Internal Sales Administrator, working closely with the business to manage and deal with new and existing customers, understanding their requirements and sourcing and outlining the best and most suitable solutions for their query, submitting proposals and bids whilst educating the client.
The ideal candidate will have a Degree in a Mechanical, Electrical or Engineering-related field or something similar, whilst having sufficient customer service experience where you have been used to liaising with colleagues, clients and third parties, either within an office-based role or Retail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer both general and technical questions from customers, offering advice, assistance and to support to customers
- Qualifying incoming enquiries, developing the call with the customer and obtaining new business
- Prepare and send quotes and bid proposals
- Liaise with and build relationships with teams across the business
- Be the first point of contact for any customer queries, questions or enquiries
- Follow up on sent quotations and closing sales where necessary
- Securing appointments for field sales engineers
Key Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service / sales / sales administration role is a must
- Confident liaising with customers, clients and third parties, building and maintaining relationships
- Degree-educated in the field of Engineering / Mechanical
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of the sales process
- Ability to provide a high level of information and support to clients
- Excellent communicator
- Computer literate, able to pick up new systems with ease
